HOW ARE ALL-ON-4® DENTAL IMPLANTS PLACED?
The placement of All-on-4® dental implants requires multiple appointments in order to provide the best possible results. During the first appointment, Dr. Steinberg will take a 3D cone beam x-ray to determine if you are a candidate. Once the implants are in place, patients will be given temporary dentures to wear for 4 – 6 months as the implants bond and anchor to the bone (osseointegration). Once the doctor determines that the implants are well integrated with the jawbone, the final dentures will be screwed into the implant by your restorative dentist.
HOW DO YOU CARE FOR ALL-ON-4® DENTAL IMPLANTS?
Implant dentures should be cared for like natural teeth, with daily brushing and flossing along with regular dental exams and cleanings at the dentist.
